What HomePlusDeals.Com can help with

We're an independent home improvement blog and deals guide — not a contractor, not a retailer, with no showroom and no sales team. That shapes what a message to us is actually good for.

  • Finding the right guide. Tell us the room and we'll point you at the walkthrough that fits — Kitchen, Bathroom, Flooring, Painting and the rest each have their own room-by-room guides.
  • Cost and budget questions. If one of our bands doesn't match the quote in front of you, say so. Refresh, Mid-range and Full remodel only stay honest when readers push back on the numbers.
  • Product suggestions. A tool that has earned its place in your shed, or something you'd like us to test? We keep a running list of what to look at next.
  • Corrections. If we've got a fact, a price or a step wrong, quote the page and the line and we'll fix it.
  • Partnership enquiries. Brands and agencies are welcome to get in touch — please read the next section first.

What we can't do

  • Quote your job. We publish realistic cost bands, not estimates. Pricing a specific room needs someone standing in it.
  • Give structural, electrical or gas advice. HomePlusDeals.Com is written by renovators, not by licensed trades.
  • Sell you coverage. There are no paid placements here and no sponsored write-ups dressed up as reviews. If that's the pitch, we'll be saying no — politely, but every time.

If it holds the house up, carries gas or carries current, get a qualified local pro to look at it in person. No blog — ours included — can do that job from a distance.

How to help us help you

Three lines at the top of your message turn a vague reply into a useful one:

  1. The room. Kitchen, bathroom, hallway floor, garden fence — whatever the actual job is.
  2. Your rough budget band. Refresh, mid-range or full remodel. A kitchen refresh at $500–$2.5k and a full remodel at $25k–$60k+ are completely different conversations, and the advice barely overlaps.
  3. Your country or region. Prices, availability and deals all move around; advice priced for one market can be useless in another.

Asking about a deal? Send the link and the price you're seeing. Two of our own rules usually settle it: a discount has to sit genuinely below its usual floor, and a "was" price that was never really charged doesn't count. Timing matters too — tools crash in spring, appliances in autumn.

Most answers are already on the site

A good share of our inbox is answered by something already published on HomePlusDeals.Com. Start with all eight categories for room-by-room guides and honest cost breakdowns, or browse the blog for independent comparisons, step-by-step tutorials and our seasonal upkeep checklists.

One question comes up more than most — paint the units or replace them? — and the answer is already waiting: painting existing units instead of replacing them saves roughly 70%.

How quickly HomePlusDeals.Com replies

We aim to reply within two business days. If your question means going away to check a price or re-test something, it can take a little longer — we'll tell you that rather than leave you waiting.

You can also email hello@homesplusdeals.com directly, though the form above keeps everything in one thread. Either way, our privacy policy sets out exactly what we do with what you send — and what we don't.
